Monochrome Stories

Six gallery is pleased to present, from 18 June 2013, "monochrome stories" on display works by Richard Aldrich Corrado Bonomi Dadam aino Piero Dorazio Gunther Forg Marcia Hafif Bruno Munari Louise Nevelson Giulio Paolini Mark Tobey for each one a monochrome but representative work will be presented of individual poetics. For the artists on display, the monochrome choice constitutes a silent and clear conceptual dimension to reach the synthesis of artistic thought.

Nevelson's black constructions as well as Dorazio's first tone-on-tone lattices, the same monochromes of Hafif as well as some paintings by Forg, borrow the monochrome of klein to make their poetics even more direct.

A short path therefore made of small and intense aesthetic experiences which in history find a new rhetorical dimension of monochrome.
