The cycle is part of the first years of activity: these are tanks for various liquids cut in half and exposed in section, flat, on which the artist has painted different layers and levels of soil as a ground seen in section from which they emerge galvanized pipes joined to plastics when they become reality from painting. The totems are works that are completely analogous to the sections developed vertically with assemblies of canisters up to two meters high, an evident need for three-dimensionality in his poetics.
