06/04/2021Two small animals, the boundless imagination of an artist like Corrado Bonomi and love for the environment: these are the prizes made available for the contest “D.prize Draw me a mask” dedicated to children in nursery and primary schools throughout Italy.
It was launched during the lockdown to celebrate the first ten years of the A.prize and d.prize architecture and design awards and invited schoolchildren to create a design on the theme of the mask. 28 schools from all over Italy participated and a prestigious jury had the difficult task of choosing the winners in a sea of nice and colorful ideas and ideas to wear a cheerful barrier against the virus.
The prizes signed by maestro Corrado Bonomi went to the first classified of the third grade class, Carola Tosti from the comprehensive Don Andrea Santoro di Priverno Institute who designed the universal slogan “A mask will save the world” and then to the best in the fourth class elementary school, Maria Sole De Ambrogio, of the Marymount school in Rome. Carola received a tender sheep made with the cotton of the pillows while Maria Sole’s recognition is a cheerful green turtle made of recycled plastic from water bottles.
